In our 97 congregations, we welcome nearly 17,000 members in worship, mission, and service to our city and beyond. We are a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Synod of the Northeast.

Staten Island Fund – Reports and Records

In accordance with the action of Presbytery at its July 23rd stated meeting, documents relating to the disposition and administration of the Staten Island Fund are being made available for public review. The attached documents include an introductory letter from the Staten Island Fund Committee (pages 1-2), all reports of the Staten Island Committee to the Presbytery General Council (pages 3-21), and a complete compilation of all General Council and Presbytery actions and reports relating to the Staten Island fund from 2004 through 2009 (pages 22-104). The Belhar Confession: Its History and Significance for the PCUSA

Join us for a pre-presbytery workshop on the history and significance of the Belhar Confession presented by the Rev. Dr. Eugene G. Turner, member of the Special Committee on the Belhar Confession. The workshop will be held from 10:30 A.M. until noon on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, before the January stated meeting of presbytery at Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, 85 South Oxford Street, Brooklyn.
